College & Deserts

No more winter break. Sad day.
The Spring Semester finally started. I'm not sure if I can say that I'm happy with my current schedule. Classes from 11am - 7pm. Hmph....but that of course is only on Tuesdays & Thursdays. I was going to be 11am - 10pm, but my parents wouldn't allow me to continue with that kind of a schedule, so I dropped the class that I really wanted to take, which was Korean II. :(
Well, this post is about Cupcakes, Frozen Yogurt, and Elephants.
The sunday before MLK day, my sister, my cousins, and I decided to have a sweet day. Kehehe.
Although a cold day, we stopped at Yogen Fruz, a forzen yogurt place that allows you to create your frozen yogurt flavor. CREATIVITY right there. I always get green tea & blue berries mixed together and then top it off with mochi or blueberries.
Next we enjoyed a stop at Sprinkles! I hear their CEO is a cupcake. Just kidding. I believe they are a company that started in Beverly Hills. They sell cupcakes basically. Cupcakes for you, cupcakes for you brothers, sisters, cousins, mothers, fathers, children and DOGS. Weird...I wonder if the doggie cupcakes are the same or better....Anyway, they sell drinks too, I believe.

So....after that we had more frozen yogurt at orange cup.

During the first day of college the topic of elephants just kept coming up. That day I wore my necklace with an elephant on it. I was not aware that the day would significantly be marked by an elephant.
SO! Elephants. First day of spring semester and in my 2nd class we had free write topics. We got to the second topic and we had to write about elephants. Whatever came to mind about elephants. It was quite interesting to hear all the responses. Later that day for lunch I got pinkberry. (oh my love for frozen yogurt~) Anyway the server noticed I had an elephant on my necklace and asked me if it was my favorite animal. It isn't quite my FAVORITE, but I like them. (It was just weird how people kept talking about elephants that day.

Thats what I've been doing for the past few days. I hope you guys kicked off your new semester well ( ^ _ ^ ) stay safe and lets have great days to come.

Home-made Presents

So, In a recent previous blog I talked about how I was working on projects for christmas. Well I was making gifts for my friends :P
I was trying to get my hand use to crafts (since I want to fashion design one day)
anyway...Here are some pictures of one of the projects I was making.

Project One
- Tiny hat headband
- Jeweled headband
- jeweled wristband
- tutu
- graphic tee

-The Tiny Hat/Wristband/Headband-

At Hobby Lobby I bought a tiny top hat and decorated it with knit ribbon from dollar tree, pearl branches from Michael's and and old school locket.
Then I bought black & mirror jewels from Michael's to decorate the wristband & headband. (I used a glue gun &/or super glue as the adhesive)

-The Graphic Tee-

First I looked for a picture of my friend's favorite singer. I thresholded the picture on a computer program called GIMP. Then I sketched it a few times. Next I bought hanes white tees at walmart for about $9 for a pack of 5. I used an old tee to practice on (like in the picture). After I felt confident enough to do the actual graphic tee I got a permanent fabric pen (black) and sketched out the picture. Next I used fabric paint to color it in.

I forgot to take a picture of the tutu. but I got the idea from a blogger I follow.

Project Two
-White Wolf Ears

That wasn't that great. The results weren't as good as I had hoped. (I was using a glue gun to keep everything together, and I much rather of used a thread to keep all together but I haven't gotten a sewing machine just yet).
ANYWAY...perhaps I'll re-attempt to make better wolf ears.

Well. Basically that was all the Do-It-Yourself I could give you. Hope you guys got awesome presents from your friends...

Yogofina

Before this we ate at In n' Out, well kind of. We had to eat in the car & outside because in n' out was WAY crowded...something about girl's softball teams.

Shopping

There was a department store sized Forever 21 :). I believe it replaced Gottschalks.
We went to H&M and it was basically time for the mall to close so we didn't get a lot of shopping done, but hey, we got some shopping done.

Flight - (San Jose, CA - Dallas, TX)

That was only during lift off...I was too tired to get the landing, but yea, that was my trip. I hope you all had a wonderful winter break, and if you're still on your winter break, like me....I hope you're still having a great one.

The year 2009 was one of the MOST eventful year of my life. So much has changed.
The end of the year was the toughest...but with family I can depend on, I was able to get through the tough time. I pray that my whole family feels the same way.

Here is a....well I can't say "little" video, but anyway, here is a documentary that I watched about the last days. The host is a bit bias towards not believing the End times, so If you do believe in the Second coming of Christ and it makes you angry to hear opposite side of the matter, then I may have to advise you not to watch it, or if you are easily downed by the end of the world, also not the recommended video for you.

All in all, the video was interesting, it made more questions pop into my head....but I don't believe my faith has been compromised because of it.

oh yes! Another class blog. We are the computer nerds. Aren't we pretty.

Anyway, This is Digital Graphics & Animation Class/ BEIS.....um none of us really know what BEIS stands for, so anyway. We basically fine tune our skills in DGA and then in BEIS we learn how to film and edit with FCP (final cut pro). It's a pretty cool class, a little stressful, but all in all fun. Plus we get to do stuff like this.

That video was of Me (left in green), AG (geek in the middle) and Jessica (right in grey). AG just wanted to tell all the guys from his form chat room that he was actually sitting next to two GIRLS. heheh :P (AG is a pretty cool person.)

Ashley: Is from Holland. She's is quite spunky. Really funny and friendly. She makes me use different faces to the things she says. It's fun to talk to her. Let's just say that she makes me want to go to Holland and be in a different country because meeting people like her would be a-o-k for me.

Why So Serious?

Why so serious? Becasue seriously it was a good movie. I know the picture says "coming soon" but it has already been released, and still earning the big bucks. I went and saw this movie twice. It was really a great movie. Although it was a batman movie it should've been a Joker movie due to Heath Ledger's great performance out shinning Christian Bale's role as Batman.

Well, I have a lot to say about this movie, but if there was to be someone who hasn't watched it and started reading this blog...it would be a major spoiler. So that's all I will say, for now....

Kanye time and time has said he is #1. And CONGRATULATIONS...he finally is. He FINALLY gets what he deserves. He told is the sickest, baddest, most talented in all the earth of all the spitters & rhymers and he finally proved his point. He made it #1 on MTV's Hottest MC's in the game. Congratualtions Kanye you deserve it.

As for Lupe he really proved himself. From being nowhere on the list last year to being numeral 7. I'm kinna happy but i'm upset that...RICK freaking ROSS & 25...I mean 50 cent beat him. HONESTLY? It upsets me that people really don't know how to listen to quality music. Take a second & listen to the knowledge Lupe keeps droppin' in his albums. It's upsetting to see retard rap win against intellegent rap. Plan UPSETTING.

Also....Snoop Dogg can't be better than Lupe, he's a couple of knotches down from Lupe's rhymin'. It's fine though, Snoop Dogg isn't much to bark about. :P

I've been keeping up with this group called Big Bang. They are a korean hip-hop group.
They've been showing how talented they are at such young ages. They're between the ages of 17 - 21. They've showed great charisma and eligibility to make it big in America.

I believe they're currently learning english, so I really can't wait for them to debut here. The already released a full album in english in Japan and they did a good job with they're english accents. I'm so excited for them

This past weekend was one of the "on-your-toes" weekends I've ever had. It's crazy how fast things are going. Time just flies out the window. You'll find yourself on the next doorstep of your future. (if that makes any sense to anyone)

People will look more than twice at you if you have good fashion.

Here are some simple accessories that you can buy to make your fashion more upscale. Your outfit can turn from something trashy to classy in 2 seconds, just because you added a simple accessory.

1. The thin scarf. This is probably one of the most effective pieces of accessories. This is a unisex accessory, both sexes look good in it. You can be wearing a simple white tee and jeans, and if you throw that one, you'll look like you have some kind of fashion sense. Honestly, it looks good.

2. The suspenders. Another one of the most effective accessories to wear. Both sexes can wear it because it looks good on both. You can be wearing something simple as well, and throwing on the suspenders it makes you look like you have some fashion awareness. Usually when wearing suspenders you don't want your shirt to be CRAZY filled with so much detail. Being a little simple with the shirt can keep the balance of your whole outfit so you don't look LOUD.

3. The thick framed glasses (usually rectangular). It's a small accessory, but compliments the face. It gives the smarter, classy look. It's unisex so this goes for both people if they want to compliment their look. Glasses use to be nerdy but now they're used as a fashion statement. You don't have to be blind to get these. (I'm near-sided to I started out with them) But now-a-days they sell them non prescribed or even sometimes lens-less. Also they can come in very many pretty colors & designs, so take your pick.

4. The slouch/knitted beret. This is usually for girls only. It's like a hat that holds onto the form of your head. It's cute and easy to add in. You can also have a rest day and let your hair be scrubby and you can easily hide the hair in the beret. Also it often compliments certain hair styles. It's a great hat to have, it lets you have a chill, cool, calm collected look. And it comes in many types of knits & colors.

5. The tights. (mostly for girls) They come in all types of colors. Neon colors, pastel colors, primary colors, secondary, tertiary colors. ALL TYPES. They try to give you that fun look. Sometimes they're good for also looking classy. Sometimes you don't want to show all that leg with your shirt skirts....ok...then wear the tights. Usually find tights that match most of your shirts. Also try to coordinate it so that your tights match your shirt if you're going to wear a shirt & a skirt or shorts, but if it's a short dress...such as a tunic....you might want to match it with the dress....unless your other accessories (jewelry) is a different color from the dress it might look better if you coordinated the color of your tights with that piece of accessory.

This song is very intresting. Language = french. I first heard it when UTSA was dancing to it, at Goodphil 2008. It's the first song you hear them dancing to. Whoever chose to dance to that song is genious. Not many dance crew think of dancing to jazzy type music. They alway automatically think HIP HOP! Let's get something "CRUNK" or rather..."HYPHY"....sure...do that. Really all you need is a good beat to dance to, and you're set.

Well, it's always good having a wide variety of music you like. I take I'm one of those who has a VERY WIDE RANGE of music I take interest in. It helps you be more diverse, and open. Try it, I think you'll find you like more music than you dislike.

Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D, & Rihanna. That is one deal. Thanks to my sister I get to see them on May 1st (I believe).

Anyway, I know this is Kanye West's concert, but...I would get Lupe Fiasco's t-shirt before his. Because....Lupe is my fav. rapper, lyricist...etc. He's really skilled and I look up to him.

I need one of these cool vacuums. Having a messy kid and Geejoe in the house never leaves this house clean for ONE SECOND.

Supposedly it gets rid of all the dirt on your floors. (CoooOoooOL)

Anyway, what if these things could clean the ceilings too. (i know what you're thinking...ceilings? you're bizarre, but, no, really....cobwebs get up on the corners of your house...especially on the ceiling where you can't reach up and destroy the poor little spiders web.

Another thing...sometimes cleaning can bring you down memory lane.

Anyway, I like how he's dressed. Honestly, I need to get me some hightop shoes. Not just the converse, but other kinds of shoes. Nike, Puma, Adidas...or like his shoes.

I have yet to get my style, or fashion coordination....well coordinated. I can't become a fashion designer, if I, myself doesn't have good fashion sense (sounds like valley girl talk).

Okay, I'll end things off with a question.

You ever wonder how people really catch on to fashion trends, what is it that makes a trend fall apart or build up?

Recently, I've been working on a project I'm really engaged in. I really want to show you guys...but I don't want to reveal it before it is finished, so I've fought the urge & I have yet to show you.

This is really cool. I think Mike Song has become one of the people I want to meet. I'd like to learn his choreography...someday. Well, I've learned some of the dance....from 00:25 - 00:30 (that's pretty much it) but anyway I digress, one day I would really like to dance like him.

Learn to dream big, then learn to live the dream.
